Reason number three: Smoking is expensive. Multiply the amount that you spend on smoking each day by 365. This is what you spend per year. Now multiply that amount by 10. This is what you will spend in the next 10 years on the average. Actually, it will probably be more because the price for cigarettes are not going to go down. Look at this figure. There are probably a lot of betters things that you can think to do with this money than spending it on smoking.

However, they had been exposed to second hand smoke. Is that cigarette worth risking the health of your loved ones?
Reason number five: Smoking causes premature wrinkling of the skin. It is very easy to pick out a smoker by just looking at the face. Smokers have 10 times the amount of wrinkles than non-smokers. These wrinkles are prominent around the mouth and lip area.
Reason number six: It is now very socially unacceptable to be a smoker. Employers hesitate to hire smokers for the simple fact that they tend to be sick more often. Landlords don't like to rent to smokers because of the stench and damage it can do to a home. A lot of states have passed smoking bans, making it illegal to smoke in public buildings.
