Magic Tricks

There are many kinds of magic tricks that have been passed on from one generation to the next. Some of these have shown to be improvements of a previous act setting the bar higher for those who want to be known as world-class magicians.

These are some things in life that will never cease to amaze people both young and old. This amusement comes from clowns to simple people who perform magic during birthday parties, shows, or just about any event that could make use of some entertainment.

Magic works by simply using the art of illusion to get it done. Here are some categories of this wondrous art;

- Levitation – is done by a magician with a volunteer from the audience, usually a female, who will be asked to lie down on a table and when it is removed, she will seem like she was enabled to float in mid air through the power of the magician.

- Production – some magicians pull a handkerchief from their pocket and it will seem like, all of a sudden, it becomes an endless chain of hankies. Others, with a snap of a finger, can create smoke and when it clears, a bunch of flowers will appear as held by the magician.

- Restoration – this is when magicians cut a person in half and put together again. A simpler version is the tearing up of a piece of paper and making it whole again.

- Teleportation – a magician with the help of an assistant will pick a volunteer from the audience and make that person disappear. Minutes later, the volunteer reappears somewhere else.

- Transformation – some magicians can turn an egg that was crushed or any other object inside the hat or a box to a small bird that will fly in the air or a bunny that will hop away.

- Vanishing – this is best described as how the hand is quicker than the eye. The person holds a coin in one hand, closes it then disappears only to find it being taken out from the ear or nose of the volunteer from the audience.

Many aspiring magicians can learn so many tricks. One can learn them by buying a magic set or reading a book. Many of these people started in the confines of their homes watching how other people do it.

All of these tricks, either simple or large scale, require an amlple amount of practice to get them right. Such feat needs the support of friends and family to inspire the magician in the presence of setbacks. No magician has ever become successful overnight. The effort will all pay off when the endeavor becomes accomplished that will eventually build the reputation of such magician.

Remember that the key to making a trick successful is to amaze the audience and make such an experience an unforgettable one.
