If you are looking for high quality organic fuel, buying biodiesel from a biodiesel plant that has received the stamp of approval from the national biodiesel board is your best bet. As this organization works closely with both the diesel suppliers and engine manufacturers your needs as a customer (as well as any problems you may have) are open to an auditing and assessment process by the board should your diesel engine or diesel car suffer any damaging effects from the fuel. Most major manufacturers of diesel engines recommend biodiesel plants suggested by the national biodiesel board.
The national biodiesel board issues a 'Certified Biodiesel Marketer' seal of approval for biodiesel plants that have met all requirements of fuel accreditation audits. This seal of approval assures customers that the biodiesel meets the ASTM standards for biodiesel as recommended by the government
More than 300 major corporate fleets currently use B20 supplied by plants recommended below including the U.S. Postal Service, the City of Philadelphia, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), several public transit systems, national parks, school districts, private recycling and concrete companies and the National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA)
Most of the following companies are capable of supplying biodiesel anywhere in the United States. Keep in mind that just because the biodiesel plant is located far away doesn't mean its fueling stations are. Usually the company's mailing address has nothing to do with the location of its pumps. Also many of the companies on this list have point and click style websites that will lead you to maps so that you can purchase biodiesel fuel at the station that is nearest to you.
