When you undergo micrograft surgery, the new hair that has been utilized to replace balding areas physically grow from the scalp itself, just like your natural hair does. This ensures that no matter how long you grow your hair, it will look as good as the original follicles would have grown them.
During surgery, the doctor will transplant hair follicles from the back of your scalp area that are individually grafted into little incisions on the front of your scalp.
