You can assemble your own kit or you can choose to buy one only at a low cost. Either of the two, you must remember that your kit must be complete and useful at anytime and any status that may take place.
A car emergency kit doesn't take too much space. If you decided to buy one, you would expect a first aid kit together with things like ropes, cables, a funnel, batteries, a flashlight, blanket, flags, gloves, water bag, zip ties and puncture repair for your tires. These are some of the things that you would need but not entirely the things that would be a big help when trouble comes. You may also want to include medicines in your first aid kit.
Now, if you have decided to construct your own emergency kit, it must contain, not all, but some of the things already mentioned above and if you're not satisfied about it, you could include some of your personalized ones. Some who assemble their own kits put in packs of munchies, pain killers and fever relievers. You might also want to know some of your family members opinions as well.
It is better to be safe than sorry. If the situation calls for certain measures, answer it back with a straight face and don't fall. An emergency is always there to boost your senses until rescue or help comes in.
