Now that you have those ready, you could start on removing the cylinder. This is the easy part. You have to first cover the paint of your car with plastic to prevent the brake fluid from spilling on it.
Removal of the cylinder can be done in 3 easy steps:
1. Empty the reservoir and dispose of the old brake fluid properly.
2. By using a line wrench, disconnect the lines that are attached with the master cylinder. Remove the nuts, next the cylinder.
3. If you have a non-power brake car, the cylinder is under the dash of the brake pedal while on models, you could disassemble the reservoir.
Off with the easy part. Now here is the tricky part:
1. Bleed the master cylinder first.
2. Connect the ends of the tubes and the adapters to the cylinder parts.
3. Fill in the cylinder with the new fluid. As you do this you would notice that bubbles are forming. Don't worry for these will appear. Just continue working on the assembly of the valve.
4. Install you master cylinder and by operating the brakes. You can conclude if you have done a successful job.
